A CV is a type of resume, most often used in academia, that provides a summary of personal accomplishments, goals, professional achievements, employment history, research completed, and any research publications.
You will upload your CV to the ADEA PASS application.

The institutional evaluation form (IEF), also known as the dean’s letter, must be completed by the dean’s office of your dental school. It includes your cumulative GPA and class rank (if applicable), an evaluation of ethical behavior, and overall mandatory comments.
You will send a request through the ADEA PASS application for your dental school to complete the IEF. Your dental school will submit the IEF to PASS electronically.
The personal evaluation form (PEF) is a letter of recommendation that includes an evaluation of personal traits and overall mandatory comments.
In the ADEA PASS application, you will provide the names and email addresses of three people who will complete PEFs for you. They will submit the PEFs to PASS electronically.
An original copy of your official transcript must be sent directly from your dental school to ADEA PASS. When you complete the “dental schools attended” section in the ADEA PASS application, you will be able to generate a transcript request form to send to your dental school.
If the original documents are not in English, a verified translation must be sent with your official transcripts in your native language.
If you’re an international applicant, you must have Educational Credential Evaluators review your official transcripts and provide a course-by-course report to ADEA PASS.
Your NBDE parts I and II or Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) scores should be submitted directly to PASS. Requests for the NBDE Part I and Part II and INBDE are processed through the American Dental Association's Department of Testing Services. Check the box for ADEA PASS on the Result Receipt Selection Page.
Endodontics applicants
NBDE Parts I and II or INBDE required for all applicants.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery applicants
• Part I is required for fourth-year dental students.
• Parts I and II are required for dentists.

Orthodontics applicants
• Part I is required for domestic fourth-year dental students.
• Parts I and II are required for domestic dentists.
• Or INBDE required.
• NBDE or INBDE scores are not required for international applicants.
Pediatric Dentistry applicants

Advanced Dental Admissions Test (ADAT) scores are not required for admission, but they will be reviewed if you submit them.
