Oral Health Research Institute has received over $2.75M in research grants from NIH and oral care industry to support its clinical and laboratory research.The research findings have generated 34 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed international dental journals
Research Highlights
- Dr. Thyvalikakath, Bruzzaniti, and Srinivasan received a $4.7M NIH U01 grant, “Establishing readiness of dental professionals in practice-based research and inter-professional care”, the largest NIH grant ever received by IUSD.
- Dr. Movila received a prestigious $3M research grant “Beneficial inhibitory effects of acid ceramidase on global accumulation of senescent cells mediated by age-dependent oral dysbiosis” from the Hevolution Foundation.
