Comprehensive Care

Keeping teeth healthy

General dentists prevent, evaluate, diagnose, and treat diseases of the oral cavity, as well as maintain the function and appearance of the teeth. Many oral diseases and abnormalities can indicate other diseases. A general dentist may refer patients to their physicians or a specialist for further evaluation, or a physician or specialist may refer patients to the dentist for treatment.

Our faculty and students come from all over Indiana, across the country, and around the world. They bring great experience and expertise coupled with cutting-edge research. There is no dental concern too small or large for the professionals of the Indiana University School of Dentistry’s Division of Comprehensive Care.
