Ethics in the Midst of a Pandemic Presented by Dr. Matt Miller 6 pm - 8 pm

What constitutes a pandemic? What other pandemics have occurred? This class will address issues somewhat unique to a pandemic; especially COVID. A timeline and response will be followed to see how the changing information created multiple dilemmas and how ethics plays a role. This course will count for 2 hours of Indiana Ethics and Jurisprudence.
Course Objectives: - Learn about historical pandemics and their impact
- Learn the timeline of COVID-19 and the government’s response
- Understand how changing information created multiple dilemmas and how ethics play a role
- Update on Indiana dental laws
2 CEUs This course will fulfill Indiana's ethics and jurisprudence requirement for dental licensure.
Speaker: Dr. Matt Miller is an alumni of Indiana University School of Dentistry where he is currently director of Continuing Education and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Miller is a past president of the Indiana State Board of Dentistry and is currently a Compliance Officer for the Indiana Office of Attorney General.
