Ethics in the Midst of a Pandemic

What constitutes a pandemic? What other pandemics have occurred? This class will address issues somewhat unique to a pandemic; especially COVID. A timeline and response will be followed to see how the changing information created multiple dilemmas and how ethics plays a role. This course will count for 2 hours of Indiana Ethics and Jurisprudence.

- Learn the timeline of COVID-19 and the government’s response
- Understand how changing information created multiple dilemmas and how ethics play a role
- Update on Indiana dental laws
This course will fulfill Indiana's ethics and jurisprudence requirement for dental licensure.
Dr. Matt Miller is an alumni of Indiana University School of Dentistry where he is currently director of Continuing Education and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Miller is a past president of the Indiana State Board of Dentistry and is currently a Compliance Officer for the Indiana Office of Attorney General.
