International Dentist Program (IU-IDP)

Earn a D.D.S. degree and become licensed to practice in the U.S.

If you are a graduate of an international dental program and you want to become licensed to practice dentistry in the United States, the Indiana University School of Dentistry’s International Dentist Program (IU-IDP) is for you. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree and be eligible to take the state and/or regional clinical board exams necessary for licensure and practice in the United States.

The IU-IDP is a full-time program. If you are accepted, you will begin the program in January, joining second-year D.D.S. students as they begin their fourth-semester curriculum. Graduation is expected in a minimum of 30 months.
