Our mission is to build on Indiana’s long-standing history of leadership in the areas of cariology and preventive, operative, and community dentistry through:

  • Provide clinical experiences that develop skills and judgment
  • Promote the integration of caries risk assessment, nonsurgical management, and minimally invasive concepts that are based on the latest scientific evidence
  • Provide an environment that is highly supportive of the training and mentoring of dental scientists
  • Be recognized by the community as essential for the improvement and maintenance of the community’s oral health
